Actually, I think there would be fewer crackpot leaders in the world because all the potential anti-US crackpots would have shepherd's pie in their knickers after watching us assert ourselves so forcefully. If their own wretched, starving, oppressed peoples didn't bear the brunt of such an action, I would be all for your proposal. Alas, the situation is much too complex.
