The French weren't always pacifists

During the era of dueling, there was a joke that if 2 Englishmen were marooned on a desert isle, they would soon commence to gambling, but if 2 Frenchmen were marooned they would immediately challenge each other to a duel!

    That is because all of the then true Frenchmen were beheaded by a group of people who at that time were on par with todays beheaders.

    Cajuns like to fight; they are just not willing to die while fighting over some indignity although I am not sure how much dignity a Cajun has anyway. JUST KIDDING!
