Devil Dog found Sailcat!

"Legend Of Sailcat"

There's danger out on the nations' roads
They're paved with snakes and flattened toads,
And truckers drive in rigs so big
They can flatten a cow, or a horse, or a manatee
And those who survive are a lucky few,
But there's one brave cat who made it through
And I'm here to tell the tale to you of Sailcat

Sailcat? Sailcat

He was huntin' for mouse to feed his face,
When strange radiation from outer space
Turned him into a super invincible cat
When a truck ran him down with a hideous splat!
Ah, he couldn't be killed, but he still could be squished
And he lay in the passing lane shakin' his fist
Then some kids helped him fly with a flick of the wrist
And that was the birth of Sailcat

Sailcat. Sailcat

He rolled after that truck like a buzz saw unleashed,
And he sliced it in two like a knife through a peach
One truck half took the high road, the other the low
And the message went out on CB radio:
"Breaker, breaker, lookout, watch your back
Be afraid there's a Frisbee-like cat who's a mighty sharp blade."
So the feared and revered reputation was made of Sailcat

Sailcat. Sailcat

He's Sailcat. Sailcat

  2. This Sailcat Song appeared on an episode of Animaniacs as an animated music video sung to the tune of "Riders in the Sky", more commonly known as "Ghostriders in the Sky".

I taught CoonyCat to stop and look both ways before crossing the street. She is very aware of vehicles.

Now if I can teach her stay away from that male Black cat that hangs around I'll be happy.

  4. It is a fatal flaw of cats and other critters. But Bubba, do you know your Looney Tunes? Jack are you sure?

    "Jack are you sure?"

Yes ... when we first got her I would place a treat at the edge of the driveway 2,3,4,5 times a day.

Now when she goes that way she stops and looks for the treat which I still place on occassion and she looks both ways!

  6. You are very clever Jack. Cat training is difficult, they mostly train us.

  7. "I WAS WRONG, ABOUT THIS SONG!!!"
After seeing a certain, not so good "rat" movie together, Miss C, and I are talking cartoons, and Sailcat. She mentions Cartoon Network's original series: Cow & Chicken, and it hits me then, that while I was looking all over for the words, or video to the sailcat song, all the time wrongfully, connecting it to Animaniacs. Thank you Miss C for setting my mind straight on this.
I still say that I know my cartoons, I just know too many of them, and git thems all con-fooz-ed sometimes...,
I am pretty good with Looney Tunes, though I have not seen many of them in a long time.
