Obama for Chancellor of Germany

Isn't it against the law for a messianic cult leader to speak publicly to masses of his followers in Germany? If it isn't, it oughta be. You'd think they would have learned their lesson by now.

  1. You know what's so astounding about the Obama phenomenon? America is not in trouble. We're not in a depression, or even, despite what the media says, a recession. We haven't been humiliated by a terrible loss in war. Inflation isn't raging at a thousand percent. So what's America's excuse. Why turn to a messiah?

It may be heresy to say it, but the Germans who turned to Hitler for salvation? It's understandable that many of them did considering what they had just been through.*

    We have no such excuse.

*And Hitler was a spiffy dresser, too.

  2. I liked the completely America- focussed nature of his speech "to the Germans". Particularly funny was his talking about how Germans and Americans "worked together" in 1947, and how "grateful" the Germans were.

The Germans worked "with" us because we had flattened the country. If they hadn't worked as we told them to, they would have gotten hungry and cold PDQ.

And some Germans weren't so grateful for their dead or crippled husbands and fathers, or the old people and children roasted by the bombs.

Believe it or not, they didn't like it that they lost the war.

This idiot acts as though the world started in August of 1945. He might be elected Chancellor if only those under 30 could vote, but the 40+ crowd would rather have a native.

    We like Obama !

The fact is... Bush was such an asshole... I mean... Our slogan should be : anyone who is not Bush should be just fine... Bush was a terrible liability (USA : the country is in a mess : weak dollar, strong inflation, two wars...)

  4. Bush is a great man and history will tell the story of his greatness. Obama is a nothing and that is why he is liked by Europeans, who are themselves nothings.

  8. I wonder what would happen if the United States said,

"All you people that hate us? We won't protect you any more. Build your own navies and armies. If France wants to invade Libya, or Russia wants Germany, have at it."

  9. No Staggy, I don't want them to have strong militaries. If they show signs of producing them I say bomb them to smithereens! I am content for them to be weak and useless. They are so good at that!
