The left thinks soccer moms deserve the death penalty!

I see that one leftist, at least, thinks that listening to (I admit to some sympathy with this one) Phil Collins, shopping at Walmart, or being a soccer mom are worthy of the death penalty. Being and doing all three must be the liberal equivalent of the Three Strikes Law. Anyway, I found Karl's blog pretty funny and am linking it. His karate chop, slot machine column was great. Here is the offending comment;

"Phil Colins the Anti Music"

You are so right. I'd take it a step further -- all Phil Collins fans should be killed. Just stake out a Walmart and wait until some 40 year old soccer mom comes out with her new "Sususudio" CD and just take her out. I'll help.

  2. I wonder if he has a smattering of gay male fans as well. They are notorious for liking people for their vocal and entertainment value, reguardless of whether those talented people are cool or not. Someone pointed out once that someone like Dionne Warwick had 100 times the talent of someone like Mick Jagger, but she was not considered cool. I don't know what raises singers like Peter Gabriel or Robert Palmer up into the hip department. They had all the earmarks of uncoolness, sythesizer music, good voice, average middle class looks and demeaner. The bottom line is, that people can't help what music they like. It's like being born gay, you don't have a choice, you either like a certain type music or you don't, you have no control over your tastes. You can lie about it, but you know what you like!
