Proof that Liberals' brains are different than Conservatives' brains
On Saturday night I was awakened by a horrific crash outside my house. A speeding car had ploughed into another car parked at the entrance to our cottage complex, destroying it and setting off it's car alarm. I woke up and was instantly sick to my stomach. Then I ran outside to see if everyone was OK. I, and the guy whose car it was were the only 2 humans to be seen. He called the police and I went back in the house, shaken.
The next day I asked my neighbors if they had heard the crash. "No" they all said. This is so typical of them. We had a transformer blow up, making a huge kaboom, and shooting flames across the power lines. Only one other person, besides me, heard it. One night there was a woman screaming as if she was on fire, I called the police and it turned out that her husband was trying to commit great bodily injury upon her. My Liberal neighbors, heard, nada.
Raccoons regularly fight and mate in the walkway between our cottages. Fighting raccoons sound like a cross between a stuck pig and a scalded cat, a bizarre sound and it goes on forever. The raccoons used to come and drag our garbage all over the yards, before we got new cans. I and my crazy cat, Buster, would run outside and chase them away, but they would come right back. None of my Liberal neighbors have admitted to hearing, or even seeing a raccoon in our neighborhood. When I asked one neighbor if she had heard the raccoons fighting in her yard she looked puzzled and said,"I didn't know there were raccoons here."
It's the same with the drunk heroin addict that tries to beak into my neighbor's houses, I am the only one to call the police. Gunshots outside, they don't hear them. I think this proves that Liberals are not physiologically programmed to respond to real and immediate threats. Conservatives are. It's about survival and Conservatives are selected for.

Maybe your neighbors are sound sleepers. I'm a light sleeper so I probably would have heard it.

Just today I was thinking about what it would be like if George Bush hadn't stolen the election from Al Gore. No massive deficits, no insane war in Iraq, real environmental protection. Ah well.
Yeah, no business and a rotten economy too. Liberal regulation run rampant. Individual liberties stifled by political correctness all because Al wants to save the polar bears. Massive taxes. I know every time the libs want something here in California they tax the home owners. When the program they taxed us for is proven useless do they rescind the tax? Hell no, they just ask for more money to give to the useless government employees.
I see in the news today that scientists are estimating that by 2040 the ice at the North Pole will be melted. Bad for polar bears. Bad for us. But let's not do anything. We had a good economy during the Clinton years. I'll trust my civil liberties to the Dems over the Republicans any day.
Democrats are not for civil liberties at all. They impede true civil liberties. Democrats want to control every ones eating, driving, free speech and rights to own property. They want to infringe on the practice of religion and destroy every meaningful American institution.
They want to indoctrinate children in their useless and failed ideology. The Liberals are infiltrating every aspect of people's lives. Just like Communists always do.
They force us to give our income to the scum of the earth, criminals and low lives who inhibit our right to go about our daily lives in peace and safety. Liberals like Al Gore are totally ignorant of real human nature. Oblivious to the real trials of working class Americans.
Most working class people are Conservative and we are the backbone of the country and yet you creepy, latte drinking, Trader Joe's shopping, effete elites want to tell us what to do and think. Keep trying. The working class is the most Patriotic and America loving group of individuals in this great country and the left has been trying to win us to their side forever and it still isn't working. Not even the Unions could do it. We are not like you, you are not like us.
Having my phone conversations listened in on does not hurt me nearly as much as being assaulted and harassed, constantly, by inner city denizens who are unchecked in their vile and loathsome behavior.
Do to the liberal policies of the local governments all civility has broken down, making it impossible to pursue liberty and happiness. If you can't safely move about the city at night you have no liberty.
As for the polar bears, their population is up. The poles will continue to melt as they have always done, there is nothing static about the earth's temp, never has been.
I can only speak for myself, but I am deeply skeptical of ideology, am not willing to give up my (or anyone else's) liberty for an illusory security,and personally come from a working class background. I am not religious but to each his own.
The Republicans represent the rich and the stupid. Which are you?
I have an idea: when each county and town district would be more able to determine its own policies and laws there wouldn't be such big argument and division over policies anymore.

Anonymous we try to do what you say, but just because people win an election does not mean they can violate others right or liberties. When we try to stem gang violence the ACLU is right there trying to stop us and to protect the criminals.

There is no such thing as civil liberties coming from leftists. There is only purging, murder gulags and reeducation camp. The ACLU does not allow people to pursue liberty it tramples on liberty.

I see your problem. You don't see a difference between those of us who believe in liberal, democratic values and Communist totalitarians. I, on the other hand, do see a difference between principled conservatives and fascist totalitarians.
How does the ACLU trample on civil liberties? By defending first amendment rights? By insisting on a separation of Church and State?
The constitution does not specify the separation of church and state is says that no laws shall be made regarding religion. It does not say to fuck up the Boy Bcouts because they wisely don't want a bunch of teenage boy molesters as scout masters. Witness the catholic church.
The ACLU files thousands of suits against people trying to help others(like curfews and anti gang measures) and make life livable. It is a communist organization dedicated to purging religion from the public domain. After the ACLU is through, what will we have left? A bunch of selfish, secular, elitist idiots, like ACLU lawyers. Lawyers by their very natures should be the last people we look to to determine our cultural values and norms. Just under Hollywood celebrities.
As a private organization the Boy Scouts can discrimate against gays or atheists (or blacks or hispanics)--but then they cannot receive public subsidies. That's what "private" means. Their Executive Director said: ""If they truly are a private religious organization, free to engage in any form of discrimination they choose, then they are not entitled to a government subsidy. Tax dollars should not be spent to promote intolerance."
Likewise a private Christian school can discriminate in its hiring practices against people of other religions or no religion. The public schools cannot.
It is not intolerant to not want a gay man to be in charge of a group of scouts, its just good sense.
As a woman who suffered under a particularly nasty lesbian gym teacher in Junior High, I can vouch for that!
Gay men are not to be trusted around teen age boys any more than I would let a straight man be a girl scout troop leader and take my daughter on camping trips.
The trouble with the high principles of the left is that they cause a lot of damage to many under the guise of preventing the bad feelings of a few.
Why aren't gay men tryong to become girl scout leaders? Why aren't women trying to become boy scout leaders?
So a few gay men don't get their wish to be scout leaders, so what. Since gay men are prolific molestors, that means a whole lot of boys won't get molested by a single man. It amounts to the greater good for all. Give the gay guy a kleenex to cry on. he can't be a scout leader, boo hoo. If that's his life's dream he's a weirdo, anyway.
In any case no one says you can't form your own gay troop organization, and what a happy orgiastic camp that will be!
