What if a Republican senator had committed the same crime as Roman Polanski did?
Do you think Whoopi Goldberg would be defending him so vociferously?
Obama has 2 young daughters. I would like him to weigh in on this issue of Polanski's extradition. Would Obama be forgiving, if Polanski had drugged and raped one of his daughters, merely because Roman has made a few kewl movies?
The left is made up of very bad people who secretly want to do very bad things to others. That is why they champion Islamic fundamentalists and men like Polanski. Lefties think because they are smart, they are exempt from societies rules. So Polanski's abuse of a 13 year old girl is in their eyes different from that of a redneck from a trailor park who does the same.

I confess, though. I do want to have sex with underage girls. But I don't. Because it's wrong.
I am willing to cut Polanski some slack though because he gave us "Rosemary's Baby."
What makes you think the lefties/hollywood libertines defending Polanski just WANT to do anything and everything to other adults and children? I am convinced their passionate defense of Polanski is based on the fact that they are active pedophiles and any other horror you can think of.

Actually Foley never drugged a boy and raped him in the butt Gary. Emails are different than the real thing, despite your active imagination.
Also gary, you make a good point. Most men want to have sex with underage girls, but they don't. It's pretty easy to avoid. Don't convince a 13 year old's mother you can make her a movie star. Don't take one to your friend's hot tub, drug her and force yourself on her. That simple.
It's all in the nuance. It's also signals the beginning of end days for them. Excusing rape of a child. Way to go leftists.
The vast majority of the excusers are Frenchies. No surprise. Look at the way the French aid workers behave in Africa with the underage African girls.
Actually on the one day when the elite of the filmmaking world were pontificating the comments in Le Monde and Le Figaro were running 70% against Polanski. So much so that for about a week, except for Pedro Almodovar, nothing could be heard from the cinastes except the sound of beeping as they tried to back away from their enlightened comments.
But when you notice so many of the cultural elite making Bottoms out of themselves it is certainly not hard to engage in a little guilty by association. But I should point out that one story making the rounds is of Vincent Cassel who was being interviewed on the run and lost the plot when asked if he would mind his daughter, five at the time, to have the same artistic experience in the future.
