Are the Russkies still worshipping that guy? Or do they keep him around as a fallback after they've made a complete botch of their venture into capitalism?
He looks like a stuffed cat which brings to mind some association between your ex, the taxidermist, and the photo of you in the cat costume. Emphasis on the word "association", not "stuffed".
He really needs a hat or cap. A knit cap would be nice or some cat ears.
