Poor Hillary!
Hillary's statement about Johnson and King was a statement about the power of presidents to effect policy and change. It was in no way a slur against Dr King's contribution to civil rights for African-Americans. Dr King could not sign any bills into legislation because he did not have the power to do so.
The media and the usual group of Blacks of low cognitive ability, the ones who are so easily confused, as say, when someone uses a "big" word they don't understand, like "niggardly," jumped on her statement like they always do. The facts are irrelevant to them. They know what they know and you can't confuse them with the facts. I saw multitudes of them demanding that Hillary apologise. She does not need to apologise because she did nothing wrong!
As for Obama, he passed up the chance to behave in a gentlemanly fashion and instead took the low road. I still think he's a pretty good guy, but he knew exactly what Hillary was saying and pretended not to for political reasons.

Great wrap up on that little kerfluffle.....One benefit is that we get to watch the politically correct high priests and priestesses begin savaging each other.
They are mean, mean! That's why Arnold won the election here in Cali, the Dems savaged each other mercilessly, during the gubernatorial election and paid the price.
Big whoop, blacks are gonna vote for the black. Is it possible to experience race as it actually is and be surprised by that? What's incomprehensible is that whites will vote Obama into the presidency. If that happens it will be a confirmation that whites are caught in Nietszche's sickness unto death.
Well, if he becomes president, then we are off the hook!
