Ayatollah Ali Al Sistani thinks that all you gays should be killed in the worst possible way. I guess a quick death by suicide bomber is too good for the likes of you. I have always thought that Islam is basically a homosexual culture, but now I am beginning to have me doubts. My suspicion is that homosexuals are way safer under the rule of George Bush, John Howard and Tony Blair, those evil Christian patriarchs. What say you?

Three years ago, the United States invaded Iraq. We can all run the story through our minds: Shock and Awe, Coalition of the Willing, Mission Accomplished, looting, "Stuff happens," no W.M.D., suicide bombers, purple fingers, blasted shrine.
Many who supported the invasion have taken this anniversary to argue that it all would have been worthwhile if things had been run better. They argue that if the coalition forces had been large enough to actually secure the country, to keep insurgents from raiding Saddam Hussein's ammunition depots, to give the people a sense of safety, the country might well be on the road to a hopeful future.
We doubt it. The last three years have shown how little our national leaders understood Iraq, and have reminded us how badly attempts at liberation from the outside have gone in the past. Given where we are now, the question of whether a botched invasion created a lost opportunity might be moot, except for one thing. The man who did the botching, Donald Rumsfeld, is still the secretary of defense.
Excuse me, you know nothing about me. I have worked for Arabs and a Persian for many years. I have many Arab and Persian friends. I was married to a Pakistani, and speak some Arabic. I know only way too much about Islam. That is not to say that I don't like most Muslims very much. I am sorry to say, you are the person that is ignorant. You should not make rash assumptions. I also live an an area of the US that is home to multitudes of cultures. So you can shut your ignorant mouth.
And another thing, Iraq is a mess because some Muslims, inbred lunatics that have been marrying their first cousins for hundreds of years, keep blowing men women and children up. Period. We had ceased hostilities but we have to shoot back at these criminals. Iraq is a mess because of some of it's own people, foreign fighters from other Muslim countries and the Iranian government. If the US wanted to crack down on it, we could institute massive human rights violations, jail more people, ,kill more people, install more check points, do more home and village searches, set curfews and limits on travel. We will not do that. Most Iraqis would rather go about their business and take a chance of getting blown up than to sacrifice their freedoms. It is up to the Iraq government to stop the violence and the Iraqi people to decide when they have had enough. It is a tragedy for people like you to relish the suffering of Iraq because you hate George Bush and America. You are also obviously unaware, because you live in a bicultural country, of how many differnt people live peacefully in the US. I ride a bus in the morning to work, on that bus are African-Americans, European-Americans, Latin-Americans, Asian-Americans, Mongolians, Russians, Bosnians, Estonians, Palestinians, Yeminis, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Nigerians, Ethiopians, Indians, Pakistanis, Nepalese, Mexicans, Colombians, Salvadorians, Guatamalans, one German and one Irish, all on the same bus. We are going to work, because we all have jobs or go to school. So it just tells me how ignorant you are of American culture for you to say that Americans know nothing of other cultures. We are a blending of all cultures. Like I said, I went to a wedding where the groom was a Morroccan jew, his bride was an American blonde girl. I went to the wedding with my Jordanian Palestinian-American friend. He was a longtime friend of the jewish groom. He is a Muslim and has Jewish friends. How many french Muslims have jewish friends? Remember the French occupied Algeria, not the jews. Yet the French arabs are filled with hatred for jews. You are the closed minded ones. Don't believe everything you read or hear about the US in France. Why don't you come here and find out about the real America
