He wants us to go back to using sailing ships for sea transport. Miss C has been saying this all along. Clipper ships are beautiful and good for the environment too.
Gary, formerly known as Zontar, is always yelping about the projected deaths of over a billion people do to the imaginary threat of "rising sea levels." Miss C does not look at the loss of over a billion people as a sad event at all. On the contrary, it would be wonderful were it only true.

Clipper ships are made of wood. Use of wood would not be permitted. Clipper ships are probably too fast for Watson's world.
The safety freaks would require that the ships have fire suppression systems, seat belts, all kinds of flotation devices, capacity limits and sanitation requirements.
What would pull the wagons and ploughs (plow)? Not any beasts of burden. That is animal cruelty.
Who would pick the cotton that would be used for clothing and sails?
Would guns be permitted, bows and arrows or clubs? What would we be allowed to hunt or would we have to resort to murdering fruit and vegetables?
How far back do we roll back medical procedures?
Will women shave their pits, legs and whatevers?
I think the simple life might be to complicated form anybody who is not simple.
Could we be selective, like remove most of the high tech but leave, ya know, Chinese takeout? and, uh... Frischetta's pizza?
The "Islamic world" is overpopulated anyway. They have too many mouths to feed. If only the jihadists were as environmentally conscious as al-Gore, they would kill themselves for Gaia's benefit. And the requisite 72 virgins, of course.
