The Frenchies are doing what?
"France plans to triple its arsenal of surveillance cameras from 340,000 to 1 million. Plans: 1) 6,500 networked cameras in the Paris transit system. 2) Connecting other cities' cameras to police control rooms. 3) Aerial surveillance drones. Rationales: 1) Fighting terrorism. 2) Fighting crime and gangs. 3) Monitoring riots. 4) We want to be more like Britain, which is thwarting terrorists with lots of cameras. Objections: 1) What about liberte? 2) The government is sending "flying robots" over our cities so it won't have to supply enough cops."

No kidding, a friend of mine in the rural south west of England got a visit from a (very embarrassed) police officer with a ticket for illegally disposing of a dead horse.
Friend had buried the horse on his own property, which one is not supposed to do without some sort of permission.
Friend asked the policeman how they knew, officer said "I can't tell you that. But you did it on a sunny day", and pointed up.
Oh dear, what's going to happen with the dissatisfied English lady, who used to poison and bury her hubby in the garden aong the lilacs, the pretending he left to the Indies ?
At least they'll be able to have some really great camera footage when the Germans march through the Arch de Triomphe next time.
Good one Steve!
