"Parks for Peace calls for reclaiming our neighborhoods commencing with the symbolic action of the rededicating 23 parks and recreation centers for peace, neighborhood by neighborhood. The first of the 23 park dedications will begin on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Brookdale Park. Each park will be declared a safe, neighborhood space for peaceful uses only by installing a Peace Pole at the park and hanging white ribbons - designating peace - from the trees and fences. "

I wish I had thought up this idea, I'll bet the originator of the Peace Pole (tm) makes a tidy living off the taxpayers of various cities.
By the way, you cynic, how about the latest tiger revelations? Are you as shocked as I to discover that drugs and alcohol were involved?
You know, maybe they misread the paper work on this plan thinking that it read "Peace Pipe" instead of "Peace Pole"?
So is this Pole from Warsaw?
You all know the city will try and settle with the tiger tormenters. They should just go to trial. The jury will not be sympathetic!
